In 2014/5 RGC Directors approved an extensive policy framework for Health and Safety. We have a defibrillator in the clubhouse and first aid boxes in key places. These are checked regularly. There is an accident report book behind the bar. It is important that accidents on the course and in the clubhouse are recorded and also 'near misses' so that we can learn from them. Every RGC member should probably read the policy from time to time
In 2015 we produced a number of powerpoint presentations specific to certain aspects of the policy. These included slides and advcie on
If any member needs to report an accident please download the accident form and hand it in to the office or write in the book. If it's a near miss then download this form.
All members have been issued with a card which outlines what to do if on the course if lightning is about and the debfrillator is mlocated in teh clubhouse near the computer. every year we ask a dozen or so members to participate in first aid and defibrillator training.
We have regular inspections of our electrical equipment and our fire safety
We will from time to time hold fire drills . Please note that the assembly point is by the first tee.
